The Jalals' rise to fame has been dizzyingly swift. In just 4 years, they have become more famous than any other Australian social media comedians, with almost 30 million Facebook followers and 6 billion views - and counting - of their sometimes controversial pranks.
Max, Rebeen and Arman Jalal, who live in Melbourne, Australia, have amassed millions of fans on Facebook and YouTube through their unique and sometimes shocking brand of prank videos.
"$50K a year? Social media is where the real money is." The Jalals have already made two videos with embedded ads – one for a shisha company, one for a hoverboard.
At previous court appearances, the Jalal brothers were swamped by schoolchildren seeking autographs and selfies, and the court heard they now have business managers in the United Kingdom and Canada.
“They’re planning on turning this in to a reputable business,” said their lawyer Thea Milides.
